PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Through the direction of the Facility Manager the Aftermarket Service Engineer provides administrative and technical support for the aftermarket service operations. Primary responsibilities for this position include assisting in the evaluation and assessment of products for repairs, developing a failure analyses program, and assist in maintaining close and frequent communication with engineering, field service, and customers on as found condition and potential improvements in pump operation.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Issue RMA and other related documentation to customer to initiate the return of a pump for the repair process.
- Complete receipt inspection reports and develop scopes of work for repair of pump
- Develop and maintain failure analysis program and conduct failure analysis when required for returned pumps
- Assist in the determinization of the repair methods and develop cost
- Interface with product engineering as required when developing scope of work, failure analysis, and repair methods
- Interface with Field Service as required and provide repair operations and methods support
- Prepare customer quotation packages in Epicor ERP system including service reports, pictures of as-found conditions, documentation and provide recommendations for spare parts and product
- Assist Aftermarket Service Manager as needed in maintaining regular customer contact with review of quotations, obtaining approvals to proceed and providing status updates.
- Assist Aftermarket Service Manager as needed in customer relationship management for aftermarket service business and integrate individual customer requirements into Epicor customer master record for consistency across plants.
- Assist in production and materials planning functions for repair orders.
- Assist in developing standard repair procedures, methods and work instructions for the TSUA repair network
- Review and respond to customer concerns pertaining to repair and service
- Interface with all TUSA repair facilities to develop common procedures, methods, processes and

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience with high pressure electric pumps or similar experience
- Experience with canned motor pumps (preferred)
- Working knowledge of an ERP system, Microsoft Office products, and data entry skills is

Position requires a person that can work successfully with minimal supervision who possesses the ability to interpret engineering drawings and solve practical problems in the manufacturing process. Occasional travel in this position is expected–facility visits, customer visits.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Sets up and operates machining centers to perform various machine functions, such as turning, facing, knurling, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and tapping of expensive, critical, and complex metallic workpieces by performing the following duties. May perform programming.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operates horizontal and vertical turret and engine lathes, other manual machine tools.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences.
- Prepares and pre-sets all tools needed for machining operations.
- Verifies that fixture setup meets acceptable quality standards regarding milling and boring sizes, depths, angles, or other specifications.
- Mounts, aligns, and secures tooling, attachments, and workpiece on machine.
- Assembles cutting tools in toolholders and positions toolholders in machine magazines.
- Loads control media, such as tape, card, or disk, in machine controller or enters commands to retrieve preprogrammed instructions from database.
- Calculates and sets machine controls to position spindle in relationship to workpiece and to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow.
- Conducts prove-outs and manual programming during setups as needed.
- Starts machine and monitors displays and machine operation to detect malfunctions.
- Stops machine to change cutting tools and setup according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications.
- Enters commands or manually adjusts machine controls to correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
- Operates machine manually to perform nonautomated functions and when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunctions.
- Discusses control media errors with supervisor or programming personnel to resolve problems.
- Cleans machine, tooling, and parts.
- Performs routine machine maintenance.
- Participates actively in continuous improvement through individual process changes and participation on cross-functional improvement teams.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Capable of working effectively in urgent/critical situations and be well organized.
- A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a build to order or repetitive manufacturing environment is required.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Quality Inspector has the responsibility to ensure that incoming and in-process materials, parts, assemblies and finished products conform to drawings, specification, order requirements, company and industry standards. The Quality Inspector must have experience to perform diverse dimensional, visual and electrical inspections of electro-mechanical commercial and nuclear parts and products during all phases of the manufacturing process using standard and specialized inspection methods and equipment.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Read drawings/ specifications and perform inspections using typical measuring instrument such as Vernier calipers, micrometer, dial indicator, thread gauges, electrical meters etc.
- Assure the quality of pump products and services
- Checks samples of incoming and outgoing parts and products for conformance to company standards.
- Maintains detailed records of inspection results.
- Report non-conforming parts/products and items requiring repair. Prepare non-conformance report and disposition parts as required.
- Determine measures required to remedy deviations from company standards.
- Verifies the accuracy of measuring equipment and tools used. Enter and update records in tracking software as requested.
- Audit internal processes within the organization such as machining, welding, assembly and testing.
- May assist with administration and support of ISO-9001/ QMS system as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to utilize gauges, calipers and inspection equipment.
- Ability to perform ASME Level II general dimension and visual inspections.
- Ability to perform ASME Level II PT and VT nondestructive examination (NDE).
- Ability to perform electrical inspection.
- Must possess strong documentation and communication skills to complete all records necessary to document inspection activities performed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
- High school diploma or general equivalent (GED); along with 2–5 years related experience and or training.
- Obtain and maintain ASME inspection certifications.
- Must be able to work in a continuous improvement environment where change is on-going and customer satisfaction is the top priority.
- Experience with metals machinery and fabrication.
- Experience with ASME and/or Military QA or ISO 9001 QA and previous Level II PT and VT NDE qualification preferred.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The QA Specialist assists the QA Manager in establishing and effectively implementing quality programs and procedures to verify that products and services meet industry codes and standards and other specified requirements.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Verifies that work is performed in compliance with all ASME code and nuclear “safety-related”, QA requirements.
- Assures the quality of pump products and services.
- Provides a comprehensive assessment of program adequacy and effectiveness.
- Reviews and evaluates documents, (including preparation and review of final document packages).
- May interface with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality issues, provide surveillance and provide information.
- Read engineering drawings and perform dimensional inspection using typical measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, thread gauges etc.
- Provides support to inspection, engineering, project, production, and other personnel as needed.
- Maintains QA records, prepare and issue nonconformance reports, deviation reports and corrective action reports. Completes necessary reports for QA Manager.
- Qualify and maintain Nuclear Lead Auditor qualification and participate in audits if necessary (including internal and supplier audits and Commercial Grade Surveys).
- In addition to day to day activities, QA Specialist may be required to travel on occasion to perform audits and participate in industry events.
- Qualify and maintain Level II NDE and inspector qualifications.
- May also assist with administration and support of ISO-9001 QMS as required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:

- Experience in commercial nuclear QA programs and NRC requirements
- Working knowledge and understanding of 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, and ANSI/ASME Section III and NQA-1. Working knowledge/experience with ISO-9001 QMS also desirable.
- Nuclear auditor experience
- ASQ Certification a plus
- Able to travel occasionally as required for audits/surveys
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Must be customer-focused and be able to work in a team environment with mixed manufacturing models – standard, highly engineered, repetitive, etc.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This Quality Manager position is accountable to and responsible for developing, maintaining and managing quality assurance systems to ensure that products conform to the quality standards of Teikoku USA Inc., customer specifications and applicable regulatory requirements particularly relating to Government, Nuclear and other special applications.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform and oversee the review and analysis of applicable industry and regulatory specifications to establish company standards, policies and practices.
- Regularly monitors all aspects of order fulfillment to insure compliance to customer requirements
- Coordinates inspections and testing with manufacturing and engineering.
- Develops, documents and maintains quality control objectives, coordinating the objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other departments to maximize quality and reliability.
- Perform NDE utilizing PT and VT method per SNT-TC-1A.
- Oversees and performs process and internal audits of company quality programs including ISO9001, ASME and Government quality programs.
- Participates in customer and regulatory agency audits of various quality programs.
- Investigate customer complaints related to quality, develop and implement containment and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Reduce cost of poor quality (scrap, rework, warranty) and drive continuous improvement processes
- Develops, reviews and approves inspection and test procedures.
- Conducts vendor surveys/audits and source inspections at vendors’ facilities as required.
- Communicates Quality Program requirements to employees and coordinates training of company personnel in commercial quality, ASME and government quality regulations.
- Assembles, reviews and approves completed data packages.
- Reviews customer requirements, certifies and releases products for shipment.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quality Management preferred or commensurate work experience
- Minimum 5-10 years’ work experience in quality field
- Excellent data mining and analytical skills
- Exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of one or more formal QMS (ISO9001, ASME/NQA-1)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess strong documentation and communication skills to interface with customers, Quality auditors, Teikoku USA Inc. management and employees
- Experience as Level II NDE per SNT-TC-1A preferred
- Formal auditing training and qualification to NQA-1 or ISO required
- ASME/NQA-1 nuclear experience including Sections III, V, and IX along with familiarity with Government quality requirements
- CQE, Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience desired
- ISO 9001 and /or other QMS experience is desired
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and operating with an ERP system a plus.
